Discover Houston is the best next step into the life of Houston Church.  In a relaxed, welcoming environment, you’ll hear our story, our vision, and what God is building in and through our church.

We’ll meet directly after the 11AM service with a 12:30PM kickoff, and it’s designed for the entire family — kids included. Lunch is provided so just come as you are.

You’ll meet some of our staff, learn more about Houston Church, have space to ask questions about what we believe and who we are, and discover practical ways to get connected through groups, serving, and more. Whether you’re brand new or have been attending for a while, Discover Houston helps you move from attending to belonging.

FAQS FOR DISCOVER HOUSTON.

  • When is Discover Houston hosted?  Discover Houston happens once a month. Dates may vary depending on the calendar, but it will always take place immediately following our 11AM service from 12:30PM–2PM.

  • What about lunch? We bring lunch to you! Discover Houston is completely free, and lunch is included for everyone who attends.

  • Is it just for adults? Not at all! Some of our favorite questions have come from kids. We’ll have activities available to help keep kids engaged while the whole family gets to be part of the conversation.

  • Can anyone come?Absolutely! We encourage anyone who is new to Houston Church to attend Discover Houston. Whether you’re brand new, have been coming for a few weeks, or want to better understand who we are, Discover Houston is a great next step. It also helps you better invite others into our church because you’ll know our story and mission.

  • How do I connect and come to Discover Houston? You can simply show up at any upcoming Discover Houston event!  But, to help us prepare enough food and seating, we’d love for you to register ahead of time. Once you sign up, we’ll follow up with details about the next Discover Houston gathering.
