RHYTHMS | Going All In β€” Week 4

Have you ever kept an exit open so long that you never really entered?

Keeping your options open can feel like freedom. But options don't make us free. They keep us fractured. At some point, you have to decide where you're going to put your full weight.

In Week 4 of Rhythms, Pastor Ryan walks through Acts 8:26-39, where an Ethiopian official reads Scripture on a desert road, asks the question he can't answer himself, and sees the water and asks what's stopping him. He believed. He obeyed. He committed.

Then in Romans 6:1-4, 11-13, we see why. These rhythms of rest, release, prayer, and commitment don't earn us a new life. They grow out of one. You can't keep carrying the old life and expect to live fully in the new one.

So rest in what Jesus has done. Release what you've kept carrying. Pray because you need him. Give him your whole life.

What's stopping you from going all in?
