UnScripted | Priorities vs. Purpose — Week 3
UnScripted | Priorities vs. Purpose — Week 3
Everybody has priorities. The things we protect, make time for, build our lives around. But priorities and purpose aren't the same thing — and it's possible to get really good at managing your life without ever asking if it's the life God actually called you to live.
Your priorities reveal what matters to you. Your purpose reveals why it matters.
In this message, Ryan Smart walks through Luke 10:25-37 — the story of the Good Samaritan — and asks the question underneath the question: what has the authority to interrupt your story? The priest had a position. The Levite had a role. The Samaritan had a response — because he understood what it meant to need mercy himself.
Your history doesn't have to make you harder. God can use it to make you more compassionate.
